USD/JPY: Japanese Yen trading on a stronger footing, ahead of the BoJ Governor’s speech

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, the USD rose 0.24% against the JPY and closed at 101.04 on Friday.

In the Asian session, at GMT0300, the pair is trading at 100.94, with the USD trading 0.1% lower against the JPY from Friday’s close.

The pair is expected to find support at 100.65, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 100.36. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 101.23, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 101.52.

Investors would turn all their attention to BoJ Governor, Haruhiko Kuroda’s speech, due in some time.

The currency pair is showing convergence with its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
