Silver: White metal plunged more than 9% yesterday, trading marginally higher this morning

Silver prices declined 9.04% to USD 36.14 per ounce during the 24 hours ending 23:00GMT, amid pressure from a soaring dollar and renewed recessionary fears.

In the Asian session at 3:00GMT, silver is trading at USD 36.17 per ounce, slightly higher, from 23:00GMT.

The first level of short term resistance on the upside is at 38.76, followed by 41.35. The pair is expected to find support at 34.54, with the subsequent support level at 32.91.

The white metal is trading below its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
