Oil prices declined 0.61% against the USD for the 24 hour period ending 23:00GMT, closing at 101.72, on the news that attempts to mediate a peace agreement in Libya were in progress.

At GMT 0400, Oil is trading at USD 102.20 per barrel in the Asian session, 0.47% higher from 23:00GMT.

The pair has its first resistance at 102.96, followed by the next resistance at 103.72. On the other side, the first support is at 101.14, with the subsequent support at 100.08.

The pair is trading just above its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
