AUD/USD: Aussie tad higher in the Asian session

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, AUD strengthened 0.18% against the USD to close at 1.0356.

In Australia, the consumer inflation expectation rose 2.2% in February, compared to a 2.0% rise in January.

LME Copper prices declined 0.1% or $9.0 /MT to $8190.3/MT. Aluminium prices rose 1.0% or $21.8/MT to $2100.0/MT.

In the Asian session, at GMT0400, the pair is trading at 1.0357, with the AUD trading marginally higher from yesterday’s close.

The pair is expected to find support at 1.0325, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 1.0294. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 1.0381, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 1.0406.

The currency pair is showing convergence with its 20 Hr moving average and is trading above its 50 Hr moving average.
