Crude Oil: Oil price hits a record high following attack on Libyan oil fields, trading lower in Asian session

Oil prices advanced 2.53% against the USD, on Friday for the 24 hour period ending 23:00GMT, closing at 113.11, as investors worried about the Middle East protests and an oilfield fire in Libya.

At GMT 0300, Oil is trading at USD 112.78 per barrel in the Asian session, 0.29% lower from 23:00GMT.

The pair has its first resistance at 113.93, followed by the next resistance at 115.08. On the other side, the first support is at 111.18, with the subsequent support at 109.58.

The pair is showing convergence with its 20 Hr moving average and is trading above its 50 Hr moving average.
