USD/CHF: Swiss Franc recouping yesterday’s losses in the Asian session

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, the USD rose 0.86% against the CHF and closed at 0.9314.

Economic data from Switzerland released yesterday showed that the number of employed people increased to 4.166 million in the second quarter of 2013 from 4.152 million in the previous quarter.

In the Asian session, at GMT0300, the pair is trading at 0.9310, with the USD trading tad lower from yesterday’s close.

The pair is expected to find support at 0.9245, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 0.9181. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 0.9348, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 0.9387.

Today, Switzerland would release KOF leading indicator for month of August, which measures future trends of the overall economic activity.

The currency pair is showing convergence with its 20 Hr moving average and is trading above its 50 Hr moving average.
