LME Copper prices declined 0.2% or $16.0/MT to $7225.5/MT. Aluminium prices fell 0.1% or $1.0/MT to $1807.5/MT.
In the Asian session, at GMT0300, the pair is trading at 0.9650, with the AUD trading marginally lower from yesterday’s close.
The pair is expected to find support at 0.9635, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 0.9620. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 0.9673, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 0.9696.
Market participants are expected to take cues from Australia’s CB leading indicator, scheduled to release later today.
The currency pair is trading just below its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
