Silver: Disappointing Chinese manufacturing data pulls silver down

On Friday, Silver prices declined 0.87% to USD 19.70 per ounce during the period ending 21:00GMT.

In the Asian session, at GMT0400, Silver is trading at 19.60, 0.48% lower from Friday’s close, after data showed that growth in activity in China’s factory sector slowed to a three-month low in December.

Silver is expected to find support at 19.36, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 19.11. Silver is expected to find its first resistance at 19.81, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 20.01.

The white metal is showing convergence with its 20 Hr moving average and is trading below its 50 Hr moving average.
