USD/CHF: Swiss Franc trading on a stronger footing this morning

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, the USD declined 0.84% against the CHF and closed at 0.9496.

The Swiss Franc strengthened, after the nation’s ZEW expectations index rose to a level of 18.3 in October, clocking its highest reading in more than a year, from 9.7 points in the previous month.

In the Asian session, at GMT0300, the pair is trading at 0.9484, with the USD trading 0.13% lower from yesterday’s close.

The pair is expected to find support at 0.9448, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 0.9411. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 0.9554, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 0.9624.

Amid no economic releases in Switzerland today, investor sentiment would be governed by global macroeconomic news.

The currency pair is trading below its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
