Oil prices advanced 2.96% against the USD for the 24 hour period ending 23:00GMT, closing at 84.13.

At GMT 0300, Oil is trading at USD 84.95 per barrel in the Asian session, 0.97% higher from 23:00GMT, extending gains seen in the previous session, while investors continued to eye developments in Libya for indications on a restart of oil exports from the OPEC member.

The pair has its first resistance at 86.26, followed by the next resistance at 87.56. On the other side, the first support is at 82.38, with the subsequent support at 79.80.

The pair is trading above its 20 Hr and its 50 Hr moving averages.
