In the Asian session at 3:00GMT, the pair is trading at 1.0443, 0.14% lower from yesterday’s close at 23:00 GMT.
LME Copper prices declined 0.3% or $26.8/MT to $8,831.5/ MT. Aluminium prices traded flat at $2,321.5/ MT.
The pair is expected to find first short term resistance at 1.0490, with the next resistance levels at 1.0538 and 1.0618, subsequently. The first support for the pair is seen at 1.0410, followed by next supports at 1.0378 and 1.0298 respectively.
The RBA Governor Stevens’s speech is likely to receive increased market attention in Australia today.
The currency pair is trading just below its 20 Hr and its 50 Hr moving averages.
