EUR/USD: Euro snapping back to life on talk of China bond buying, trading lower this morning

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, EUR rose 0.18% against the USD and closed at 1.3684, as rise in the US stock markets and reports that China is in talks to buy Italian bonds calmed fears about the Euro zone debt crisis.

In the Asian session, at 3:00GMT, the EUR is trading at 1.3644, 0.29% lower against USD, from the levels yesterday at 23:00GMT.

The pair has its first short term resistance at 1.3736, followed by the next resistance at 1.3828. The first support is at 1.3555, with the subsequent support at 1.3466.

Trading trends in the pair today are expected to be determined by industrial production data in the Euro zone.

The currency pair is showing convergence with its 20 Hr and its 50 Hr moving averages.
