Oil prices advanced 0.60% against the USD, on Friday, for the 24 hour period ending 23:00GMT.

At GMT 0300, Oil is trading at USD 98.78 per barrel in the Asian session, 0.57% lower from 23:00GMT, after the arrest of the head of the IMF, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, added to uncertainty over the progress of resolving European sovereign-debt woes.

The pair has its first resistance at 100.62, followed by the next resistance at 102.45. On the other side, the first support is at 97.03, with the subsequent support at 95.27.

The pair is trading just below its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving average.
