Crude Oil: Oil trading lower, ahead of the API’s weekly crude oil inventory data

Crude Oil prices advanced 1.57% against the USD for the 24-hour period ending 23:00GMT, closing at 42.12, after Saudi Arabia pledged to work towards oil prices stability.

However the gains in oil prices were capped as global supply glut concerns persisted.

In the Asian session, at GMT0400, the pair is trading at 41.97, with the oil trading 0.36% lower from yesterday’s close.

The pair is expected to find support at 40.67, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 39.37. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 43.01, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 44.05.

Crude oil is trading above its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving average.
