Oil prices advanced 3.10% against the USD on Friday for the 24 hour period ending 23:00GMT, closing at 104.87.

Oil futures surged as fighting in Libya continued to add to concerns that unrest could spread to other, nearby oil-producing states.

At GMT 0400, Oil is trading at USD 106.04 per barrel in the Asian session, 1.12% higher from 23:00GMT.

The pair has its first resistance at 107.58, followed by the next resistance at 109.11. On the other side, the first support is at 103.25, with the subsequent support at 100.45.

The pair is trading above its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
