Oil prices declined 0.31% against the USD on Friday for the 24 hour period ending 23:00GMT, closing at 86.08.
Crude oil futures ended lower on Friday, as investors were cautious ahead of an upcoming contract expiration and a long holiday weekend that could involve more violent protests in Bahrain, Yemen and Libya.
At GMT 0400, Oil is trading at USD 87.36 per barrel in the Asian session, 1.49% higher from 23:00GMT.
The pair has its first resistance at 88.28, followed by the next resistance at 89.19. On the other side, the first support is at 86.05, with the subsequent support at 84.73.
The currency pair is trading above its 20 Hr moving average and 50 Hr moving average.
