Gold: Yellow Metal shines further amid worries over nuclear issues in Japan

Gold prices traded higher by 0.57% against the USD on Friday in the 24 hour period ending 23:00GMT, at 1,418.90 per ounce.

In the Asian session at 4:00GMT, gold is trading at USD 1,423.38 per ounce, 0.32% higher from 23:00GMT, investors sought safety in the face of a possible nuclear catastrophe in Japan.

The pair is expected to find its first short term resistance at 1,434.41, with the next resistance at 1,445.43. The pair is expected to find support at 1,410.46 and subsequently at 1,397.53.

The pair is trading just above its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
