Silver: Silver extends its gains in the Asian session

Silver prices rose marginally to USD20.86 per ounce during the 24 hours ending 23:00GMT, amid strong demand for safe-haven assets. However, a fall in the prices of industrial metals capped the gains in the commodity.

In the Asian session, at GMT0400, Silver is trading at 20.95, 0.43% higher from yesterday’s close.

Silver is expected to find support at 20.70, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 20.45. Silver is expected to find its first resistance at 21.12, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 21.29.

The white metal is trading just above its 20 Hr moving average and is showing convergence with its 50 Hr moving average.
