AUD/USD: Australian Dollar falls on weak business sentiment data

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, AUD weakened 0.73% against the USD to close at 1.0490.

In Australia, National Australia Bank’s Business Confidence declined by 5 points in March to reach 9 points from 14 points in the previous month.

LME Copper prices declined 0.4% or $41.3/MT to $9,781.3/ MT. Aluminium prices declined 0.7% or $18.3/ MT to $2,653.3/ MT.

In the Asian session at 3:00GMT, the pair is trading at 1.0435, 0.52% lower from the New York session close.

The pair is expected to find first short term resistance at 1.0535, with the next resistance levels at 1.0634 and 1.0787, subsequently. The first support for the pair is seen at 1.0382, followed by next supports at 1.0328 and 1.0175 respectively.

The currency pair is trading below its 20 Hr moving average and 50 Hr moving average.
