USD/CHF: Swiss Franc rose as Swiss KOF lifts 2012 growth projection, trading lower this morning

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT on Friday, USD fell 0.15% against the CHF and closed at 0.9558. The Swiss Franc edged up after the KOF institute reported that Switzerland’s economy is projected to grow by 1.2% in 2012, compared to the prior estimate of 0.8% growth.

In the Asian session, at GMT0300, the pair is trading at 0.9581, with the USD trading 0.25% higher from Friday’s close.

The pair is expected to find support at 0.9552, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 0.9524. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 0.9601, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 0.9621.

The currency pair is trading above its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
