USD/CHF: Swiss Franc steady against the greenback in the Asian session

On Friday, the USD declined 0.28% against the CHF and closed at 0.8910.

In Switzerland, the KOF leading indicator rose to a reading of 100.4 in June, from a revised 100.1 reading in May, snapping a three-month losing streak.

In the Asian session, at GMT0300, the pair is trading at 0.8910, with the USD trading flat from Friday’s close.

The pair is expected to find support at 0.8898, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 0.8885. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 0.8931, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 0.8951.

Amid a lack of major economic releases in Switzerland, later today, traders are expected to keep a tab on global economic news for further cues in the currency pair.

The currency pair is trading below its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
