USD/CHF: Swiss Franc trading lower ahead of Swiss PPI data

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, USD declined 0.18% against the CHF and closed at 0.8799.

In the US, the budget deficit widened to $134.2 billion in August, compared to a budget deficit of $90.5 billion recorded in last year.

In the Asian session, at 3:00GMT, the USD is trading at 0.8823, 0.27% higher versus Swiss Franc, from yesterday’s close at 23:00 GMT.

The pair has its first short term resistance at 0.8883, followed by the next resistance at 0.8942. The first area of support is at 0.8761 level, with the subsequent support at 0.8698.

Trading trends in the pair today are expected to be determined by Producer Price Index (PPI) in Switzerland.

The currency pair is showing convergence with its 20 Hr and its 50 Hr moving averages.
