USD/CHF: Swiss Franc trading lower, ahead of UBS consumption indicator

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, the USD rose 0.88% against the CHF and closed at 0.9396. In economic news, the number of people employed in Switzerland stood at 4.24 million in 2Q 2015, higher than Q1’s level of 4.22 million.

In the Asian session, at GMT0300, the pair is trading at 0.9421, with the USD trading 0.27% higher from yesterday’s close.

The pair is expected to find support at 0.9322, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 0.9222. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 0.9514, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 0.9607.

Trading trends in the CHF today are expected to be determined by Switzerland’s UBS consumption indicator for July, set for release in a few hours.

The currency pair is showing convergence with its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
