USD/JPY: BoJ policy meeting awaited

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, the USD weakened 0.52% against the JPY and closed at 92.87.

In the Asian session, at GMT0300, the pair is trading at 92.87, with the USD trading flat from yesterday’s close.

Investors are speculating aggressive easing measures from the Bank of Japan (BoJ) at its two-day policy meeting ending today, under the new Governor, Haruhiko Kuroda.

The pair is expected to find support at 92.49, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 92.12. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 93.46, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 94.06.

The currency pair trading below its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
