Gold: Gold holds on to Friday’s gains

Gold prices traded higher on Friday by 0.44% against the USD in the 24 hour period ending 23:00GMT, at 1664.59 per ounce.

In the Asian session, at GMT0400, Gold is trading at 1669.54, 0.30% higher from Friday’s close.

Gold is expected to find support at 1653.04, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 1636.55. Gold is expected to find its first resistance at 1678.14, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 1686.73.

The yellow metal is trading above its 20 Hr and its 50 Hr moving averages.
