For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, USD rose 0.39% against the CHF and closed at 0.8192.
Swiss Franc declined against the greenback amid speculation that the Switzerland’s Central Bank would sustain its efforts to prevent the currency from strengthening.
In the economic news, the UBS Bank reported that its consumption indicator in Switzerland dropped by 0.23 points to a reading of 1.29 in July, the lowest level since December 2009.
In the Asian session, at 3:00GMT, the USD is trading at 0.8181, 0.13% lower versus Swiss Franc, from yesterday’s close at 23:00 GMT.
The pair has its first short term resistance at 0.8237, followed by the next resistance at 0.8292. The first area of support is at 0.8122 level, with the subsequent support at 0.8062.
The currency pair is trading between its 20 Hr and its 50 Hr moving averages.
